About us

I have always sought to combine research with the divulgation of our historical heritage, especially of that in the immediate surroundings of Andalusia.

With more than ten years of experience as a guide I have worked with clients of many different nationalities. These have included school students, adult centres and more specialized groups, such as congresses organized by the University of Málaga, the Trustees of the Alhambra, the Menéndez Pelayo International University and the Friends of the Lorca Museum. I have also guided presenters in  for all Andalucía for television programmes produced by Spanish, Italian (RAI), German, Japanese or Brazilian channels.

To promote our historical heritage I have curated several themed exhibitions and collaborated with other institutions, such as the University of Málaga, Málaga City Council and Vélez-Málaga Council. I have worked for them as a documentalist, selecting and cataloguing artefacts and writing texts for information panels and catalogues. I have also been commissioned to write texts for the Provincial Parliament of Málaga and Editorial Planeta.

I was the official archaeologist in Tarifa for nearly three years, creating the basis for the Museum Plan, as well as the brochure and information panels for the famous castle ‘Guzmán el Bueno’. Our Historical and Natural Heritage Guide was published in 2013.

To promulgate knowledge from the projects in which I have participated and those of other researchers I have organized various conference series for the town halls of Benalmádena and Tarifa and institutions such as the Málaga Museum of Glass and Crystal.

And of course, if you need any type of archaeological study (excavation, survey, analysis, Master Planning for monuments, etc.), I am at your disposal.
